This site is dedicated to the musician, artist and actor Zaine Griff. Zaine was part of the vibrant 80's music scene both in the UK and Europe. During this time, he recorded two albums, held several exhibitions showcasing his artwork, much of which was inspired by his own lyrics, and published a book of his own poetry. After becoming disenchanted with the music industry, Zaine moved back to New Zealand in the mid eighties to explore other interests.

In the last few years Zaine has returned to his love of music and the arts, with renewed vigor and passion. This has resulted in the release of his third album in 2011, with a fourth In April 2013.

As well as his own solo material, Zaine has worked with a multitude of artists and producers including David Bowie, Kate Bush, Gary Numan, The Kinks, Yukihiro Takahashi (YMO), Hans Zimmer, Warren Cann & Midge Ure (Ultravox), Tony Visconti, Eddie Rayner (Split Enz) and Ronny.
